New York Fashion week showed off some of the top designers in the industry and a few of my favorites were Rag & Bone and Richard Chi.

Try the rugged layering, mixing chunky sweaters with heavy coats, or plaid shirts with a tweed jacket. And don’t forget your backpack on this Rag & Bone look.  The big fashion trend in Europe is the scarf wrapped around the neck and it doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon so you may as well embrace it.  The footwear options are endless and I love tall and casual boots here or ankle boots.  Either way give you an urban look that’s stylish and fashionable.

The leather jacket by Richard Chi is fantastic especially when you add layers underneath and the scarf wrap.  This is a great fall look and will carry you all the way into Spring 2011.  As you can see your back to the scarf wrap as just about every designer carried onto their runway shows.
